On Thursday, May 16, 2024, our Firm’s Managing Partner, Melinda Middlebrooks will co-present the continuing legal education presentation (CLE) entitled “Dead Shopping Centers and How to Revive Them” at the New Jersey State Bar Association’s (NJSBA) 2024 Annual Meeting and Convention in Atlantic City. The CLE will provide an overview of shopping centers that are dying and how to revive them. This program will also look at dead centers and the consequences; bankruptcy implications and specific parts of the statute designed for shopping centers; as well as lease and mortgage provisions triggered by defaults.
